My name is Ashley, however I prefer to go by Salem, and I’m a James Madison University alumni with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Studio Art. I currently have five years of experience as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator (where I’ve combined my usage of Adobe Creative Cloud and Fire Alpaca 64), and two years of experience as a 3D Modeler (where I use 3D Studio Max and Creo).
As a designer with a curious nature, I love learning new subjects and tricks of the trade, and I try to incorporate each new thing I've learned into my process. I enjoy looking up different style treatments, how to balance aesthetics and functionality, and seek diverse resources that will aide my creative process. I make sure that both my clients and I are happy with the final product results before everything is finalized. I keep an open mind, and I welcome criticism and opinions at every stage of the game. I push myself to be better than I was yesterday.
When I'm not working on projects for clients, I work on random illustrations, where I experiment with different mediums and styles. Likewise the subjects of my designs will vary; I’ve designed portraits, my friends and clients’ characters for tabletop games, and my beloved goldendoodle Micah.
